The American Club of Brussels, in partnership with The Bulletin, is organizing its traditional U.S. Election Night event at the Marriott Hotel in downtown Brussels. The evening, paced by debates between locally-based democrats and republicans, blue-grass music by the Kruger Brothers, commentaries by prominent journalists and live-TV feed from the key states in the U.S., will allow the audience to be part of “History”. Based on previous election events, over 1,000 people are expected to attend with the Marriott providing food and drinks with a distinctive American flavor. Many international news organizations are expected to attend to broadcast the unique atmosphere from the Capital of Europe.

We will have a presentation by Dr. Jamie Shea, Deputy Assistant Secretary General of NATO, who will explain the impact the election will have on the Alliance and by a EU specialist, Tom Parker, CEO of Cambre Associates, on what’s in store for the continent.
After the dinner, you’ll be invited to join us for the Election Night, which will be officially opened at 9 p.m.
