Join members of the Cercle de Lorraine for a conference by Wayne J. Bush, Assistant Secretary General for Executive Management at NATO. Some of you may remember when Mr. Bush was the Chargé d’Affaires at the bi-lateral embassy under Ambassador Sam Fox.

NATO has been a dominant part of the Belgian landscape since its headquarters moved from Paris to Brussels in 1967. But what do we really know about this very visible institution as the construction of NATO’s new headquarters transforms the Belgian neighborhood once again?

Taking the new headquarters as his starting point, Mr. Bush will talk about NATO’s place in the Belgian community and what they bring to each other in this 50-year-old partnership. Finally, he will explain how the new headquarters will help open up NATO to the outside world and transform itself in the process.
