We are happy to
report that the holiday giving tree at the Thanksgiving dinner was a huge
success.
With the proceeds,
the ACB, together with HOPE, the AWCB’s charitable group, provided presents
from St. Nicolas to children in a refugee shelter.
After the purchase
of the toys, there remained a balance of €490 which was transferred to the
orphanage, La Cité Joyeuse. Please see below for their letter of thanks for
this donation.
