To Bio or Not to Bio?

Join our partner Brandon from Terre Mieli Cieli, on Thursday 17 October, for a unique blind wine tasting of eight wines in pairs. One will be organic ("bio" in French) and one won't. To keep things fair, each wine within the same pair will be from the same grape variety (or blend) and same region and the same or an adjacent vintage.

The question is: Will you be able to tell the difference? Yes or no, the tasting promises to be fun.

Brandon will reveal which wine was organic and which wasn't after each pair, and declare an overall category winner at the end of the tasting based on participants' votes. Along the way, I'll talk and answer questions about organic, biodynamic and "raisonnée" viticulture and wine making.

The wines will be paired with plenty of good food. The tasting will take place at the Comptoir Rodin in Ixelles.

ACB members and partner clubs get a discounted rate of  70 euros, non-members rate is 75 euros. This is a joint event with AWCB and ACB Partner Terre Mieli Cieli.

The participation is limited to the first 30 people who sign up. Book early to reserve your spot!

Cancellations are possible until noon on 14 October, 2024. Participants cancelling after this time, as well as no-shows, are charged the full cost of the event.
