Come join us for an unexpected journey through Italy and Sardinia, as we meet American author Jeff Biggers and get to know his latest book 'In Sardinia - An Unexpected Journey to Italy' (Melville House Publisher).

Let's meet on Tuesday 14th of November from 6pm at Sardinian restaurant Siendas.

A welcome drink (white/red/bubbles or draft beer, or soft) and some nibbles are included. Expect Sardinian fried Culurgiones (traditional handmade Sardinian filled with potatoes, pecorino cheese and mint) with spicy tomato salsa, olives and foccacia with cherry tomato and oregano.

Award-winning historian Jeff Biggers opens a new window into the hidden treasures of Sardinia in a groundbreaking travel narrative that crisscrosses one of the most enigmatic places in Italy. Beyond its fabled beaches, reconsidering how its unique history and ways have shaped Italy and Europe today, Biggers explores how travelers must first understand Sardinia and its ancient and modern history to truly understand the rest of Italy.

Copies of 'In Sardinia - An Unexpected Journey to Italy' will be available to purchase and the author will be signing them.

Those who would like are welcome to stay and enjoy dinner after the event at Siendas.
